Face and eye make-up remover: which one should you choose
Formulations such as our micellar waters do not have to be rinsed off and also have toning properties. Thanks to the “micelles” they easily remove any make-up and impurities found on the skin, working like tiny magnets. They are perfect for removing make-up from the lips and eye area too, not just the face.
Our cleansing milk allows you to “emulsify” any remaining make-up. Formulated according to modern standards, it features a fluid and fresh texture that is perfect for all skin types and can be used to remove make-up from the face, eyes and lips.
When removing eye make-up, it is best to make sure that the multi-purpose product – micellar water or cleansing milk – you are using has been ophthalmologically tested or to choose a specific product that is more suitable for removing more resistant, waterproof make-up.
In particular, when removing eye make-up, you must take care to make gentle, slow movements and you should never put too much product on the pad to prevent any product, even a little, from getting inside the eye. Even an ophthalmologically-tested cosmetic product may cause irritation and/or a burning sensation if it comes into contact with the eyes.
To complete your cleansing routine and refresh your skin, use a toning lotion.
If you are removing make-up from combination or oily skin, you can complete your cleansing routine with an astringent lotion that helps to balance excess sebum.
For a complete beauty routine, it is ideal to use a face scrub once a week, depending on your skin type. Gentle exfoliation achieved with a creamy product containing micro-granules thoroughly removes impurities and makes the skin look smoother and more radiant.
