Medical device formulated to prevent and treat dryness and atrophy of the vulvo-vaginal mucosa, linked to particular physiological conditions (post-partum, menopause, climacteric) or as a consequence of localized irritations or stress. Thanks to the bioadhesive properties of hyaluronic acid, it forms a protective film that restores and maintains the correct level of hydration of the intimate mucosa. Enriched with protective and soothing ingredients, it promotes the physiological trophism of the mucous membrane and relieves the discomfort caused by poor intimate lubrication. Thanks to its high tolerability and biocompatibility, HYALO-DUO is also suitable for prolonged treatments and in all those cases where you do not want or cannot resort to pharmacological treatments. Before applying the product, wash your hands and external genitalia with a suitable cleanser. Remove the cap at the end of the single-dose applicator and, while lying down, gently insert the applicator into the vagina and use almost all of the tube content. Use the rest of the content over the vulvar and perineal area by massaging gently.
Posology: 1 application per day for an initial period of at least 7 days, or until discomfort symptoms wear off. Posology may vary according to your physician’s instructions. As maintenance treatment, use regularly 2-3 times a week.
Warnings: Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not expose to sunlight or extreme temperatures. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the single components. The product is compatible with latex condoms. The product is not sterile. Do not use on broken mucous membranes. Do not use with other vaginal treatments unless upon medical advice. It is not a contraceptive. Do not use as a lubricant. Single-dose product. Do not exceed the recommended posology. Do not reuse; if reused, integrity of the product cannot be guaranteed. Do not store for reuse since the microbiological stability of the content cannot be guaranteed. Do not use if the primary container is damaged. Do not use after the expiry date. Undesired effects: no side effects specifically related to the use of the product are known at the time of writing. Product biocompatibility has been verified. However, should any irritation or allergic reactions related to the use of the product occur, discontinue use and consult your physician/gynaecologist. It has been reported that the use of products to treat vaginal dryness may cause slight, odourless vaginal discharge.
